Thanks for the info Lisa. You are lucky to a climbing son! You might even be able to get him to wear complementary colors or all red so you can have fun with color! |

Thank you for your comments Lisa. The low shots (like getting on your stomach) work particularly well for small dogs!! |

Hi Ally,
Very nice shot. It clearly shows you got low. The depth of field makes this image special, emphasizing the bird and its motion. The angle of the sun helps to bring out the foam. |

Hi Nancy,
I like the low angle perspective of this image and the reflection really makes the shot.
Can you provide the technical details of the shot? The train looks a bit soft, to my eye, so I am curious as to your camera, speed, f-stop, and so on. |

Hi Lisa,
This photo makes it look as if you are right there with the climber. Nice job! It gives a sense of the power and concentration needed to climb.
Can you provide the technical details of the shot?

Thanks for your comments Carole. I think the other visitors to the Chihuly Garden were wondering what I was doing crouched on the ground! |

What a wonderful photo! Nice job Carole. I enjoy "back-of-the-flower" shots because is causes us to appreciate the oft looked-over part of the flower. The image is crisp, and the green and yellow complement each other well. I don't mind the partial flower. I think it helps to create a diagonal line that gives more interest to the image. |

Hi Bruce,
I like the composition. The green background makes the orange berries pop even more. As others said "Wabi Sabi indeed!"
My only suggestion is to apply a bit of sharpening. To my eye, the image is a bit soft. Here is a version with selective sharpening as applied in Topaz Sharpen. |

When I first looked at the image I was concerned that you must be sticking your head or body out the window of a close-by building and I feared for your safety! Then I read the description. Nice use of a drone. The image gives me a sense of danger, perhaps a bit of vertigo. The creative fill certainly adds interest to the image. Great job! |

What a great action shot! I love the old-timey treatment. It makes me feel as if I am back in the Wild West. You did a great job on capturing a background that is not too busy. All too often I've seen rodeo shots what have lots of people in colorful clothes behind the action, which is distracting. You managed to avoid that. Well done. The monochrome helps focus us on the action too. |

Thanks Andrew. I was actually trying to capture an image for another Digital Dialogue group that I am in. The subject was dexterity and I decided to capture a shot of a Steller's Jay acrobatics. But along the way, I also got this image! Serendipity. (That acrobatic image will be posted for July, Group 12). |
