Thanks for your suggestions Andrew. I consciously left the orange in as an artistic choice, but given that two people mentioned to remove it, I will reconsider that choice. I will work on lessening the visibility of the white hat in the background. |

Hi Leo,
Great job! This is a terrific reflection shot that not only captures the fireworks perfectly, but the colorful skyline. The reflection is so wonderful. I wouldn't change anything.
The water is very still. It that usual for Macau? |

Hi Bruce,
I deliberately left those bits of orange in as a subtle accent. However, I will try what you suggest. Thanks! |

Nice composition. The cloudy day gives this image a monochrome feel, which I like. It makes it stand out from other hummingbird images I've seen. I wouldn't change anything! |

Hi Bruce,
The sepia helps tell the story. Great choice. I love the sharpness of the helicopter along with the softness of the blades that show motion. I can't suggest anything to make it better! |

Hi Harley,
You did a good job catching this man in flight. The fact that you replaced everything except the main subject got to me wondering what could be done without using AI.
Did you manage to capture an image that shows the full parasail? I'm wondering how he is attached to it because the tension seems to be pulling forward. If you have a shot with the full sail, you could isolate the subject and call it "Air Time."
I used the Dehaze filter on the sky to bring out the blue and mist that is there, then tried to lighten up the subject. It's not an improvement, but if the full sail were showing, it would be more interesting. |

Hi Mark,
Fierce cat! As far as a competition, you might want to read the rules for Nature/Wildlife as there are some restrictions regarding "zoological organism." (see https://psa-photo.org/page/division-definitions). My local club tends to be more restrictive. Part of that is because so many members submit images of truly wild animals that show behavior, and it's difficult to compete.
In any case, the image, to my eye, is hazy. I suggest making the cat darker. Also, most judges look for very sharp eyes, so you might try selective sharpening. Anything I could suggest on the bright spots in the background would violate the rules (e.g., content generated fill). If you live near the park, you could try capturing more images during a more favorable time of day. |

Great shot Andrew! You captured the motion and the intense concentration on the player's face. I like that the ball is centered, because your crop allows me to see the entire "floating" leg of the player. I don't have any changes to suggest. Well done! |
