62 Jun 23 Comment Hi Israel,
You have many exciting plans! I recently visited Prague. What a beautiful city. I look forward to your model shots in Czech Republic and your kibbutz images. Costa Rica is amazing too. I was there a few years ago and will return in April.
Safe travels!

62 Jun 23 Reply Hi Israel,
You get to travel quite a bit. Do you have travel plans for the summer? Travel gives wonderful opportunities for photography.

62 Jun 23 Reply Thank LuAnn. During the pandemic lockdown, I learned that there are many exciting things in and around the house to photograph. I took Joe Edelman's photo challenge everyday and found out that there are worlds to explore--hand sanitizer caps, sink stoppers, car brake lights, candle flames, and more. One doesn't have to travel to be amazed by our world. You do macro photography too, which is a universe unto itself. Jun 19th

62 Jun 23 Comment Hi Israel,
What a wonderful documentary image. Well done! Thank for the commentary because I would not know exactly what the man is doing without seeing his hands.

I visited one of the tannery factories in Morocco several years ago. I will always remember the odor. I was far above the dying vats, so I did not get to see the detail of the workers. Thanks for sharing.

62 Jun 23 Comment And now for something completely different because I couldn't resist....

I love the idea of the multiple images. My camera can do that and I haven't used the feature that much. Now I am inspired. But lately, I'll been experimenting with blend modes in Photoshop. I either duplicate the image and then apply a blend mode or I duplicate the image, rotate it, and apply a blend mode. I find I can sometimes, but not always, create interesting abstracts. I am working on a color abstract series. So I took that approach and applied it to Bob's creative image. To my eye, it results in a central area of focus. I also applied a vignette.

62 Jun 23 Comment I'm late to the game on this one due to my travels in Iceland. It is interesting to see Mark's original version, which I think is well done, and then the various iterations.

When I first looked at the image, my eye was drawn to the ceiling and it took awhile for me to notice the tomb and then the hands. Israel's version highlights the tomb and lets me see the hands right away. I still appreciate the detail in the architecture, but the sun rays help to focus my initial attention to what I think Mark wants the viewer to see.

62 Jun 23 Comment Nicely done Emil! The angle you chose to photograph from gives the scene a lot of interest. Fabulous! Jun 19th
62 Jun 23 Comment Hi LuAnn,
I love your dark and moody treatment. It gives the tree a sinister appearance, making the tree limbs look like arms that might grab me! I'm not sure that I would want to take shelter under it, but I certainly enjoy the mood from afar!

62 Jun 23 Comment Wonderful portrait Pete. I can see why you chose to photograph him. The head dress is eye catching, as are his fancy eye glasses. I like the reflection in the glasses.

It is interesting how image orientation makes a difference. To me, the flip works well. I concur with LuAnn's fix for the man's neck. I hadn't noticed it until she pointed it out! It's all in the details.

When I photographed a person on the street, I got his phone number so I could text the image. Just something to think about for the next time.
