Thanks LuAnn. I like your suggestions for tone down the color version. I'll try that! |

Thank you Israel. I like the orange too, but it almost blinds me with so much color. That's why I tried the monochrome. It is more subtle. |

Hi Bob,
Thanks for your insight. No, I didn't intend on the center being soft. It was my lighting set up that called for the slower speed. However, I just completed a short course on exposure and learned that I didn't know as much about exposure as I thought! I am hoping to use that new-found knowledge make a correct exposure that results in the effect I want. We'll see! |

Hi Nick,
Terrific action shot. I especially like the flying dirt. I don't have any suggestions other than what Pete suggested about the thin area at the bottom. |

Hi Pete,
Your image communicates a peaceful, relaxed ambience. I love the range of tones in it and the texture of the chairs. I agree with Israel about removing the tree on the left. It's a small change, but a bit distracting.
If you go back to this lovely garden, it might be interesting to stage the table with a wine bottle, and maybe even two glasses, as if the scene is waiting for the viewer. Just a thought. If you put wine on the table, no one will suggest removing the table! |

Hi Emil,
What a great job processing. You achieved your goal of making the grass stand out. It looks as if you sharpened some of the image. At least to my eye, the seed heads have much more detail in the BW version, which contributes to the pleasing effect. The dark background works well too. Great job!
Regarding Pete's comment, you might be able to clone in a sharper seed head, but as Bob said, don't lose sleep over it. |

Hi LuAnn,
What a stunning image. Your treatment gives the plant an ethereal quality that I find quite pleasing. I can't offer any suggestions. Everything you did resulted in an amazing image. I concur with Bob's perfect 10. Congratulations! |

Hi Bob,
Pond leaves have never looked so good! Your processing did a wonderful job of bringing out all the small droplets, resulting in a very pleasing texture. The intersecting lines and the circular shape of the largest bubbles provide interest and balance, and draw my eye throughout the image. Well done! |
