Hi Pete,
I wish content-aware fill was more intelligent. If you have Luminar Neo you might find that does a better job. I noticed that with PS using the clone and/or heal tool over the border of the fill often helps to integrate the fill better with the rest of the image. |

Hi Nick,
I really like your monochrome conversion. Well done! I think your image does well as a city portrait. But you will learn that many of us in this group can't help but to experiment with other's images. I made a crop that removes most of the sky and therefore puts the focus on the magnificent architecture. Just a thought.

Hi Emil,
Well done! I am impressed. You are inspiring me to try to capture a drop! I also really like your color complex drop. It reminds me of a piece of glass art, something that conveys a mushroom.

Hi LuAnn,
What an interesting composition! I think you are on to something here. I think Israel's darkening of the highlights adds to the impact. My only suggestion is that the letter have some words that are meaningful to the reader. As Pete pointed out, once I see the words and the nib directed towards them, I want to understand the story. Yours Truly isn't enough. I'd love to see how you develop this concept!

Hi Emil,
What a wonderful opportunity for a photo shoot. When I first looked at the image, I thought I was transported back in time. The image works well in monochrome. I like that you got rid of the distracting lights on the left. The starburst light on the train contributes to the mood.
Great job,

Hi Bob,
I love this image. Your conversion is wonderful and brings out the personality of the car. I can almost see it "face!" I really can't suggest anything as I think the image is great the way it is.

Hi LuAnn, Thanks for the fix advice. I am taking a course now on how to get the exposure correct in the first place so that post processing isn't necessary. Next time I see this moisture condition, I will get out my "real" camera, tripod, and use manual mode for the capture.
In any case, I think the phone did remarkably well. I always set the phone to RAW (which results in a DNG). My phone is an iPhone Pro 12 MAX. |

Hi Israel,
None of us can resist playing with your image. That means that it is a sure hit! I like your crop because it communicates, to me, that the man in the center is the star. I like that you show his hands on the sax. I think that the sax and his hand are a bit soft, so I took your original color photo, processed it with Topaz AI Sharpen to sharpen the hands and sax. Then I used the Dark Glow filter in Silver Efx. To me, that extra bit of sharpeness makes the performer more prominent. What do you think? |

No. It is due to the large amount of moisture evaporating from the ground. |

Catalin, You and Pete have convinced me to revisit my original. Thank you for your suggestions. Yes, my BenQ Photography monitor is calibrated. I calibrate it regularly. My workflow include a MacBook Pro laptop that I attach to the monitor. The laptop is also calibrated for those times I edit away from my workstation. |

Hi Pete, I like what you did. I will revisit using this approach and removing the hose cart, as to so deftly did. Those who know my property will know that your treatment includes Avenue of the Stumps. The sign is on the ground at the start of the stumps on the left side, but the sun obscures the sign. Still, I think you can see the stumps. The previous owner left a pile of them, so I rolled them into this position! |

Thanks for teh advice Bob. As I recall, moving too much one way or the other eclipsed the sun and lessened the effect. I probably should have turned the phone to horizontal. But here is a crop where I put the sun right on the one-third line. What do you think?
