Thanks Bogdan. I was trying to achieve a more painterly effect by not adding more sharpening, but I will certainly try your suggestion. |

You are correct that used the "guideline of thirds" to place the tree, but not the field. I wanted to image to be more about the field because I took this when on a caravan to help the farm workers. I have a version where I place both the tree and the field on the thirds line, and the image does become more about the tree. It is interesting how difference crops produce different results! |

I agree about the clouds not being original. I have since collected my own cloud images and am planning to revise using them. Then again, this part of the country is often cloudless, so I should perhaps embrace the clear weather that we typically have! |

Great pose and edits. To me, a panorama crop works well and puts the focus on the fox. What is the fox stalking? There is a story there! Did you need to use such a high ISO? You might try bracketing ISO in the future to see how low you can go. |

What an unusual image! The only pigeon images I've seen are in cities where they land on people who feed them (Paris or St. Mark's in Venice). To me, the midsection and wings are soft. It looks as if you applied a painterly effect only to those areas. To my eye, the crop works well. |

Joan, Beautiful image. Your crop works well. I especially like your treatment of the sky. Warming it up, to my eye, improves the image and gives it a wonderful ambience. It sounds as if you had a terrific trip. |

Terry, I think you are the champion of improving images! I recall the rather nice processing that you did last month. The intensity of their faces is what draws me in. So to answer your question, I don't think the feet are needed. I tried cropping it a bit and they converting to B&W as you suggested. See that you think.
There are a few things in the photo that, to my eye, distract. Namely, the lines coming out of the dancers heads, the partial door, partial flower pattern, and the shiny patch on the women's dress. All can be easily softened for removed. Don't give up! This picture can be saved!! |

Mohanan, This is a beautiful abstract. Nice job! I am enjoying the complementary colors and the pattern created by mirroring. The original image is also rather nice! This is the kind of image that can be enjoyed from many angles. I also like it when viewed vertically. |
