For me, I prefer photos that capture a mood or feeling of a place. So I find that I appreciate photos that are not of exhibits. I know I can get an image similar to this through a stock photo site, like Getty. I can see that you did a good job technically capturing the photo. From a compositional standpoint I would have liked to see something original. |

I love chickens! Whenever I go to a county or state fair, I head for the chicken barn because they are so beautiful. You did a very good job of capturing this image. I enjoy the variations in the color of the feathers, the sharpness of the image, the depth of field, and the fact that Mr. Rooster seems to be looking at you. Nicely done. |

Wow! You did a great job capturing this slug. I'm a diver but I don't take photos because I know the technical challenges. I really appreciate those who have the appropriate equipment--and the fortune, as you say--to get a great shot like this. Compared to the original, your processed image really depicts this delicate creature. |

Very nice capture! I love the depth of field, the detail in the trees, and the look on the marmot's face. |

I like the way that you captured the natural environment of the sheep. I think the horizontal aspect ratio does a great job of communicating what the environment is like. The only thing I can suggest is to crop slightly on the left to eliminate the half tree that, to me, serves as a bit of a distraction. In my opinion, this image is as much about the Zion landscape as it is about the animal. Nice job! |

Walter, if your goal was to exercise your facility with Photoshop, then I think your mission is accomplished. Great job. You really isolated the bones. I suggest that you consider using this as a layer for a creative composition where you can juxtapose the bones with something that communicates their size. |
