Nothing to add regarding the three individual images but I may consider a re-arrangement of the alignment of the three images, I think i would have put image 1 in the middle and image 2 on the left. This bookends the image with the central image looking out and the other two images looking into the centre |

Well done on having such an opportunity to shoot this display. i might be tempted to crop off the sides and the top to make the figures larger in the frame. I would also have a play with the white balance to try and reduce some of the blue in the image |

You have brought out the detail in the structure of the flower so well. Have you tried a square crop and a very slight vignette? I think also you should remove the other bud :) |

Wow this is a photographers shot, not many would have seen this or thought to take it. I think you have used the right sort of post processing to make the most of this image. Well done |

Hi Jim
Your edit of the image is what makes this.. I love the way you have pulled out a lot of the flower detail. darkening the background will bring out the colours more...overall well done |

Thank you Jim for your lovely comment. I never understood the "bird on stick" haters as that is a birds environment -- stick, air or ground/water. I was lucky ion this particular day the rain came in waves so i had time to try different settings to see what worked best. |
