Hi martin, I might be even more adventurous with the crop! I would take more off the foreground without cutting into the reflection to make the bat larger in the frame, after all that is what we want to look at! Cracking capture well done |

Mono conversion for me! it then becomes all about the shape and form.I think i might opt for a sky somewhere between Jim brilliant white and Martins dark black! |

Karen your final crop really speaks to me and I think that is one I would have sought after too. I might be tempted to bring down the bright area in the sky and lift the shadows of the water a little, but def stay with your crop! |

i like the crop and the conversion to black and white. If I am being ultra picky (and I am) i would try to deal with some of the burnt out ares on the birds wing and head, other than that top job! |

This image appealed to me, as generally I am a fan of wildlife!I might have tried to draw a little more detail out of the shadows of the birds if it is available to you? The crop is good and you are keeping us firmly within the image |
