This is a great image. I love how you captured the underside of the stamen. You captured the smooth side with the fuzzier edge. It is in perfect focus. An amazing macro image. Even the lines on the nettles are perfectly focused and lead you around the image. Love it! |

I like the organic shapes from the ice dripping down. Also agree the background blur is perfect and really enhances the focus of the pine needles and the ice. |

This is an amazing shot Mary! He is perfect and perfectly in focus. I wouldn't change anything, although I think Cindy's crop suggestion is a good one. It would just really focus in on him a little more. |

I went through a light painting period! It was fun. I also had an obsession with nutcrackers this past Christmas! I love the creativity. I really like the brightness you created on the face of the nutcracker, so my only suggestion would be painting more of the body with the light. I think it would be great of the nutcracker were a little brighter. |

I really love what is going on in this image. The flow of the lines on the leaves is beautiful and moves you around the composition. Then you have the contrast of not just the straighter lines of the flower stem, but also the contrast of color...the red against the green. Nicely done. |
