Cindy, this is a test comment. There seems to be some issues with members not receiving comments on there work. Will you let me know if you get this?

You always find the coolest objects to shoot. This interesting, but feels a little flat. I'm wondering if you can up the contrast or maybe make it black and white and play with thresholds a bit. It would become a very abstract looking image. |

I love the subject, but I kind of agree with Cindy. It is very busy in the background. You could try to blur those fallen petals in the background, so there is a sense of them but the main flower will stand out better. That flower blends with the background and it really is beautiful and should be the focus of the image. |

I think this is a great capture. I love the silhouette on the bokeh background. I also like the composition and how the feather is slightly off center in the image. |

I love your positive attitude Mary! I like the contrast of textures you captured. It makes a very nice abstract image. I also like how you punched up the textures and enhanced them. |

A great Spring Vibe. I like all the lines you captured from the edges of the petals to the yellow lines on the petals. You may have jumped out of your comfort zone, but it is a great shot. How close were you to the orchid with your phone? Were you farther away and then did you crop in? |
