A beautiful capture. I also like the colors you capture. You might want to try cropping in on the sides. The background is dark enough that you can get away with just some subtle hints of what it contains. And you can set the image slightly off center. |

I agree with Bob, rusty stuff always makes a great subject. I h ave played with the different filters in Camera Raw as Bob also suggested. It could be fun to try. I think rust is rip for HDR techniques. It may help with the contrast in certain areas, helping each element stand out a little better. |

Nice contrast of colors and textures. If anything, you could maybe enhance the textures by playing around with variations of clarity and contrast. |

Interesting image! I get Harry Potter vibes from it. When looking at the 2 images side by side, I think it is interesting how in the final image you lose that she is holding the book close to her chest because the neckline of her shirt blends differently. It takes on a landscape vibe. I would also crop in a little so the candle is not quite in the center, and then also soften the brightness of the flame, so it does not become the focus of the image. |

I too can be accused of taking pictures of plants (I have no intention of buying) in stores as well! Nice capture. There is a wonderful abstract quality to the image. I agree with Cindy and I would eliminate the white spots at the bottom. |

I like the simplicity of this image, even though there is a lot going on. You can feel the water on the apples. The apples are the focus and the darker background that fades out in areas, really accentuates that. Very nicely done. |
