I think brightening up the chess pieces was the way to go. I love the contrast of the chess pieces against the funky, abstract background. You could try to remove that black line above the Queen's head. It kind of cuts the composition in half. |

Awesome capture of great textures and colors. I love the peeling paint and the lines on the wall. Great job! |

I love the contrast of colors in this image. I like the grey cupid against the amber color of the other elements. I find the sun flare a little distracting. How did it look in the original? |

OMG! Perfect! You captured a fabulous moment! Everything is crisp. Her eyes glow. I like Cindy's crop as well. You could brighten up a little, but I wouldn't do it too much. |

Great subject. I like your decision to convert the image to black and white. Having the focus on one of the figures was also a great idea. Everything else is nicely blurred but still visible. Great job! |

I am a huge fan of taking pictures of flowers when they are not perfect. I think they have a lot more character when they start to fade. I love the vibrant colors and I love the way the one stamen droops down. YOu captured all the subtle lines in the petals as well. I would not change anything. |
