Nice image. It doesn't feel dark. Maybe that is what you were going for. I would maybe brighten it up a little. |

I like the brightness and feel of this image. Leonid's suggestion is nice as well, but it definitely gives a very different feel to the image. I would consider cropping in on both sides. From the left you can crop in closer to that top flower and from the right closer to the bottom one. |

It is a great composition, but it is a little too blurry for me as well. If you wanted to go for a softer feel, I would maybe try some paint textures to make it look like a painting purposely. |

I'm torn here. In your original, the sky is very nice, but the trees are a bit boring. If it was about the tress, I may like the black and white version because you may be able to get some exciting contrast, but I love that sky. |

Great capture! I don't know if you need to blur the bottom of the picture. I think the contrast of the darker bush at the bottom with bright sky behind the white egret naturally has you focus on the egret. I don't really pay much attention to the bottom of the bush. |

I like the composition you ended up with. I think the texture works well. It gives it a painterly feel and I think the original image is a little harsh. This is a much softer look. It plays to the dreaminess of the image. It doesn't need to feel realistic because who expect to find a little girl playing a piano in the middle of a field of flowers? |

Such a sweet, innocent shot. This image really tells a nice story. I wouldn't change anything. |

I love the colors in this. I am a huge fan of textures, but I think the oil paint effect flattens the image out too much. It almost looks like a quilt. I would keep the oil paint texture, but maybe pull back on it a little so some of the natural petal shapes come through. |

Your patience was worth it. I think this is a great image. I like the variety of textures and lines you captured. The barn wood (?) behind the owl and then the various lines and textures of the owl's feathers. Amazing. Did you use Topaz Glow at all? It has that sort of feel. |
