I love the abstract quality of the image. If this version is the cropped one based on the club completion judge's suggestion, then great! But if not, I wouldn't crop the water. I like the composition as is. |

I love find like that! One of my favorite shots was at flea market where I captured an old tv. I agree with Judy's suggestion. I think you need to darken the background a little and really make the statue pop out, because the colors on the statue are very similar to those in the background. |

Great capture! I agree with Robert's suggestion. I would add a little color to the background because you start lose the larger birds head in the background because it blends with the grey leaves. |

I like the concept, but I think there are a lot of elements in here that aren't needed. I think you can crop out the flowers on the top and crop out the railing along the bottom. The image is very busy, which is ok because it is interesting, but I feel the brown building is more interesting than the one with green roof. And all the interesting boats are on the left side. I would crop everything else out and then straighten out the horizon, because it does feel like it is slanting. |

Yes it was taken mid-day and it was not a super blue sky either. |

I love his expression! He is determined to make contact with that ball. This is a great scene. The batter and the catcher tell the whole story. I'm not sure about vignetting though. I would not want you to lose any piece of that catcher. |

I like the contrast of the grey color of the dusty leaves against the green violet leaves as well. I agree with Jody in regards to trying to add a little more contrast between the tree and the Dusty Rose plant. It doesn't toilet blend, but they are the same color family. What also works really well in this image is the contrast of textures of all the elements in the image. My only suggestion would be to remove some of the yellow spots and damage on the violet leaves. Probably won't add much though. |

I love the experimentation. I am not sure what the round piece is that is casting the shadow, but I think that element works really well with the image. It lends to the abstract nature of the image. |

I love the fact that you went for it. I can never get the bugs to stand still for me either. I know you did a lot of cropping, but I would consider cropping some of the background off from the right. The halo effect on the white petal and the background around are throwing me off a little. |

I love capturing dandelions! I think you did a great job capturing areas of focus and making the composition interesting. It has a very abstract quality about it. |

This is great! I really love the image, maybe because I am fascinated with fire. I love watching the movement of the flames and I think you captured that feeling with this image. I would consider cropping in so the viewer really focuses on the fire. |

I don't think I have ever seen a white butterfly! The butterfly is nicely in focus and I agree with your crop. It is a shame that the butterfly wing is so close to the edge of the image, but I definitely feel cropping out the sides makes for a more dynamic composition. |

This is a great capture. You have a lot of detail on the butterfly, which is the focus and although there are points on the flower that are a little blurry, it does not take away from the overall image. The darker areas of the background feel like they are crowding the image to me, though. |
