I love the capture and the use of the background. As you mentioned the words just fill up empty space. I like that, but I feel as if there is still too much empty space. I wouldn't make the image smaller, but maybe move the words in closer to him? |

I like the simplicity of this. I like that you experimented with different processing. What is going on along the bottom? Did that just happen naturally as a result of using the photocopy filter? |

I like the composition with the tulips flowing up and curving around the image. The background is not doing it for me. Maybe it is the color. I agree with Dorinda about playing around with different backgrounds, since it is a composite. Judy's suggestion about using textures as well interesting. I used to do this a lot, adding grainy or grungy textures subtly to a background. |

I think it is a great scene. If I had any suggestion it would to crop slightly from the right, making the birds a touch more off center. But other wise it is great! |

The ferry makes a nice backdrop. I like the contrast of textures here, with the wire on the tree and then the ferry behind. I also like how the wire is brighter than the tree, highlighting it even more. Was that by accident? |

I've played with these at the Franklin Institute. Fun image. I love the colors. I know you need the finger to create the reaction, but I would be interested in what the image would look like if you tried to erase that out? Then it would be just a ball of glowy light. |

Nice and clean. I like the composition you chose and I think you captured some nice light on the strawberries. Did you use natural light or did you have the scene lighted? My only suggestion, is it feels like the bottom of the plate is sitting on the edge of the picture. Next time I would try to crop more of it off or move the plate so back a nudge so there is more table showing. |

I think this image has an infrared quality to it. I like how you have the stem fade into the background. It is a nice artsy image. Basic and simple. |

I love him/her! I totally agree with you. The reflection adds interest to the image for me. I think the black and white works better, because of this as well. The reflection is less distracting. I would love to know what is going through her/his mind. |

I think it is a lovely capture and I like the composition you chose. The overall image feels dark. I think if the reflection along the bottom were a little brighter it would work better. |

I love old rusty things as well. I like the contrast of textures and the colors of the rust and tarnished metal. I think you did a great job here, with all the reasons why I love rusty metal. I think it is an interesting composition, although I struggle where to focus my attention. It would naturally be the fuel gauge, however I keep being drawn to the upper left as well. I love those big nuts and bolts too. |
