Thanks for your thoughts Robert. I see what you are saying. It's a short person's problem :) |

I'll try lighting up the middle. |

I love the drama and the altered reality feel. It does look a little like this was a composite of different photos, but thats ok for me. To me the sky and background mountain actually don't fit with the image. They are almost too dull compared to the rest of the image. |

I think the composition is great and I also feel like you achieved your goal of sharpening the leaves so they are the focus. The background seems a little grainy on my screen, but that would be the only thing I would try to fix. |

It is a great capture subject wise, but the image as is feels flat to me. Leonid's suggestion of saturating does help. You may want to try playing with the contrast of the image over all as well. Also maybe sharpening the details in some areas. |

Very cool. I like the colors and the experimentation!! I agree with Dorinda and was going to suggest you crop it in. The background is certainly less interesting than the cup and saucer and that is where I would direct my focus. |

You absolutely accomplished your goal of dreamy! I like how you have a few leaves more in focus and I am not sure if you enhanced the color a bit, but I like it. To Robert's point, it does appear that the background light seems a little blown out. |

Very nice and quite sharp. I like your enhanced version better because I think the color is more interesting. Nicely done. |

I love the light airy feel of this image. However, you may want to play with the contrast slightly just to see if you can get a little more definition in the flower. I agree with Cindy. I would crop inform the left to cut out that green triangle, but I would also crop the bottom off slightly as well. |

Love the experimentation! I like the composition with the pine cone coming in and I think it looks good. I wold love to see the drop of water just as clear in focus as the pine cone. I tried droplet photography once where I tried to capture the falling drops out of my sink. It was tough. |

I don't think black and white would work either. I think the dappled colors of the rust help make the image interesting. I see Cindy's point with the crop because those foreground images are blurry, however I kind of like them there. They frame out the image for me. |

I love show you captured the spikes on the leaves up through the little petals on the flower. We have these growing in my area as well and I always love trying to capture them in all their glory. Excellent background blur as well. |

I love the contrast of textures in this image. You actually captured two slightly different textures on the tree and then you have the smoother textures of the leaves as well. I also like how the focus is slightly off center with the vine coming in from the left. It does feel a little dark to me. I would lighten up slightly. |
