Interesting! I like the creative piece with the ceiling replaced by the sky. It is whimsical and makes you wonder what is floating up there. Nicely done. |

I love the green leaves and how you captured the veins in the leaf. I would consider cropping in from the left and cutting out some of those little "galaxies", or making that water darker. I find the white spots distracting. |

I like the thought of combining the 2 photos, but agree that it might be nicer to have a few specs of the fireworks reflected in the water. Fireworks are also challenging to capture, at least for me. I think it's nice and I like the subtle silhouette of the boats as well. |

Very nice capture. I struggle with getting sunrise and sunset pictures to come out well. My sun always looks too gloomy. I like Robert's crop, making that horizon line slightly off center. I like the little boat where it is. |

I think it is a beautiful capture. I like the colors and the petals are in focus. I don't agree with rotating it. I strongly feel if you are capturing flowers as the grow then they should be presented as they grow. |

Great details on the fish. I also like the contrast of the textures, and appreciate the monochromatic nature of the image as well. The limestone seems a bit busy too me. I'm wondering if you can isolate the fossil and just bring the clarity and contrast up on that, so the stone sits more in the background? |

Monochrome is an interesting idea from Cindy, but I actually love it as is. I think the contrast of colors is beautiful and the subject you caught is great. You captured perfect clarity as well. I agree with the crop, because it does make the snail seem more magnanimous. Great job! |

Great clarity on the pods! It really shows the texture and fuzz! I don't mind the green blurred background, but the stem on the lower left seems to be cut off as if you erased it. I would actually see if you could eliminate that little bit of stem and just have the one pod on the left growing up. |

I really like the contrast of textures and colors in your image. I also think this composition works. It uses the rule of thirds and having that "line" or division in the first third, makes the image more interesting. I find myself really looking at this and trying to figure out what it is. |

I think experimentation and learning is awesome! You did a great job and this would make a great product photo. I would say it feels dark, but there is a side of me that really likes that. |

I like your composition. The bottom of the fern has a slight halo effect on it, but the top and focus of the image are perfect. I like it on the back background as well. Apparently "dark" photography is trending!! |
