I love this image, but I feel like your shot is really the right side of the image. The reflection of the bridge is captivating and that is where my focus is. |

I think the spider silk works in some areas and not in others. I love the colors but what is going on in that one area where the red petals touch the green flower. Is this just an complimentary colors issue? It almost look like you were trying to edit something out. And, I love the name! It does glow. |

Nicely done. I have been that photographer that has chased a butterfly around waiting for it to land, so I appreciate this shot immensely. You achieved great focus on the butterfly head and wings too. |

I like how the bud seems to jump right out of the scene. I think you achieved that with the bright color. Also like the leading line you created with that one leaf above the bud. It keeps your focus on the bud. |

I like the idea of brightening up the woman but trying to maintain the feel of the storm clouds. |

I agree about the background. I actually tried to clone some stuff our, but I was worried it was looking unrealistic. I will try cropping.

Interesting and inventive! I wouldn't have noticed it was salt until I read that. I like the drama of the lighting you captured. I think if you shoot it again, I would make it off center. Not necessarily a crop, but add background to the right side, to make it more interesting. |

Nice composition. I would try to darken up or remove some of the blown our highlights. and maybe lighten up the background a little. What was back there? |

Great background blur and just enough softness with the buds so they aren't distracting. I think the vignetting works well and I like your composition. If anything, I would maybe crop off the bud on the left. I don't know why. It changes the position slightly of the open flower. |

I love the composition and the praying mantis is really in focus. In looking at your original, other than brightening up the subject, I don't think you need to really darken the background so much. I would pull back a little and maybe only darken the edges. It feels like there is a spot light on it. |

It is beautiful and I like the crop you did. The water droplets are nice and clear. The flower feels a little dark and I am wondering if there is a way to brighten up a bit? That would be my only suggestion. |

I like the mood you created by having this as a black and white image. I also like the subtleness of the leaves in the background. I do agree that having the reflection gives the flower some context. It makes more sense. Great job! |
