Great composition and I like the colors. It is also a great combination of contrasting textures. Very nicely done. |

I like Dorinda's crop and agree with her, about the less is more. I love the subject and think you definitely captured the smooth texture and color of the bamboo. There was this great garden I used to walk through (it was destroyed by a severe storm a couple of years ago) and they had an amazing bamboo garden. It was hard to take pictures because it was too dark!! |

A very striking image. I like the composition you chose and I think the reflections are great and love it on the dark background. |

I like the original. I think you captured a great color and I think that the fact that you are viewing a reflection and the silhouette is upside down makes it interesting. No need for centering. |

I like the adjustments Leonid suggested as far as brightening up the color. I would like to see the center of the Magnolia sharper. You could try in Lightroom using the clarity tool. I also agree that the bee makes the image more interesting. And thanks for the lesson. I never knew that was the process. |

This is a great image! You really got the lines of the dandelion very crisp and I like the color you achieved as well. I like how the lines from the dandelion seem to dance around the image. Taking the shot indoors was the move. No wind!! |

It's great that you have the spider so close. The web makes a great abstract and contrast to the spider. Although not really crisp focus wise, I like the image. The composition works. I'm not sure how you could have achieved a super sharp image. No wind? |

I actually am fine with the composition. I am a left to right person, so I am comfortable with the branch flowing in that direction. I would try to lighten the branch, leaves and berry a little, so they aren't so dark. |

I think it was the right move to include your daughter in the photo and not just her arm. It does give the subject context. I like the mysterious background as well. I am not sure what it is, however, it makes a nice contrast of textures. Great competition as well. |

I love the detail in the rose and think it was a great idea to saturate the color. I also like the definition you achieved on the water droplets. Working on a similar water droplet piece myself, but with a leaf. Nicely done. |

I like it. It's fun. I like the contrast of textures on the shell and the box and then having it sit on the smooth counter. I also like the touch of blue from the paint on the top of the drawer. While this is far from monochromatic, it sort of has a monochromatic feel, so I like the little pop of color. |
