Very nice scenes. I like the composition and the contrast of the textures in the trees/brush against the smooth mountains farther back. I also think this enhanced by the contrast of colors. The space is also broken up quite nicely as well. |

Trader Joe's has some great flowers this time of year. They yell at you if you try to make pictures of them in the store (speaking from experience).
The stamen and anthers are clear. For me, as someone who likes shooting macro shots of flowers, I always try to get a little more of the petals in focus as well. If you do crop in little more, I would crop in from the right to take the focus more on that center area. |

I think this is a great capture! I love the color of the birds and the contrast on the light background. The composition is perfect and whimsical because the birds are looking at each other. I wouldn't change anything. |

It certainly is a slice of life right now. I agree with Leonid, that you cold crop off part of the right side of the image and throw the subject slightly off center. It would eliminate the distracting dead trees and make the composition more interesting. I tried a shot like this once while walking on a path. The people where on horses. |

Thanks for everyone's comments! I took several shots from around the tree (and I am short, so it helps when shooting from underneath the tree). As i mentioned, I want to bring these into photoshop and see if I can play around and get some different results. |

Amazing shot! I appreciate the sharpness you achieved with the bird in an action shot. Although the background is dark, I think it needs to be as you said, to help set the bird apart. I wouldn't crop it, unless you wanted to take the bird slightly more off center in the overall composition. |

I love reflecting images. I never seem to be able to get really good ones. To Robert's point about the lower right, you may be able to crop some off the bottom and not compromise the entire image. I also like how (without your original photo), the context of where this image was taken is present. It makes it more enticing. |

Very nice and an interesting subject. I think you handled it well. I would consider cropping it in even more. It might make the composition a little more interesting. |

I like the rich colors and the yellow contrasting against the bright blue sky. I also like the starkness of the black shadow from under the sunflower. The only thing distracting me is the very blurry leaf along the bottom. I don't think you can crop it out though because it would crop out too much of the leaf to the left of the flower. |

I agree with all these comments. 1. Great idea for finding things to shoot at home. 2. I love the simplicity of the composition. It has a great graphic quality to it. 3. Totally make a book!! |

I like the shot of this one. It is a nice composition and I like the juxtaposition of colors. Did you increase the saturation at all to get that purple? I agree with Mary about the market feel you achieved. And it is an interesting collection of shapes and textures as well. Nicely done. |

I love the composition, and I like how you managed to get the butterfly in a great pose. I would pull back the vignette around the edges a little. The butterfly feels claustrophobic. I wouldn't necessarily lighten the vignette, but maybe just make the vignette take up less space, if that makes sense? |
