This is striking, but with respect to Robert mentioned, I think the size of the moon would be better and look more natural if it appeared to not be blocking some of the branches of the tree. Is there any way you can fix that? |

I think it does have the potential as a black and white photo, but I agree that it is hard to determine what the focal point of the image is. I do like Stephen's cropping suggestion where the lantern becomes more prominent in the image. Jon's idea is interesting as well. I would love to see how that image would turn out. |

Really nice image. The colors and the sharpness you created with the focus stacking is great. |

So, I always look at the photos in this group and think about what I feel before I read the description of how it was done. My first thought was this looks doctored, like those seed ads were in no way growing near that barn. And that's ok for me. I don't feel you need to obsess about straightening out the silos, because the seed pods aren't straight and I think it blends well. |

I think the colors in here are stunning and I like how the water is very subtle. It adds intrigue because you aren't really sure where the sunset is. I have been trying some sunset shots myself, but never as a panorama. |

Without the title I would have thought she was bracing herself from the wind. You captured amazing movement in her hair. The circular blur is very subtle, and I didn't really notice it until you mentioned you did it. I like the processed version better than your original, but the original has a little contrast in the colors which I think is nice. |

Mary, I love using the glass ball for pictures. I tried conducting a small photography workshop. It was outdoors and I brought my glass ball for everyone to try. I love how you achieved a little microcosm of a world inside the sphere. It seems a little oddly out of focus on the right side, but it doesn't;t bother me that much. Nicely done!! |

This is a really neat abstract image. I like the way the colors bounce and then you have interest in the paperweight. It looks like a dandy lion. What was on the inside? A also like circular composition that has been created. Not that it is the shape of a circle, but how everything brings you around again through the image. |

I really like the composition and I like the black background. I like that style when it comes to floral subjects. I have thought about how to successfully create a black background. What did you use as the backdrop? Did you then darken the background in post processing? |

I love the extrude on the flower that you achieved, but it is a little too dark for me. You can probably just crop out some of the leaves on the left. If you tried that, you wouldn't have to lighten it up on the right. |
