Very cool subject matter. I like what you did, but agree with Dorinda's cropping idea. I think it works well. |

I see where the concern with this image is how to make the fern stand out more. Instead of blurring the background, did you try sharpening the fern and leaving the background as is? Aside from that I like the curve of the plant and it draws your eye around the image well. |

I love the movement of this image that has been created by the red lines on the tire (even thought the tire isn't actually in motion). I think it would make a great abstract if you cropped in so you don't even really know it is a tire. |

I like this landscape scene, but I would crop off some of the image from the left side, throwing the church off center even more. I feel like the church is getting a little lost in all the green. I would keep it in color. |

Great image. The composition works well and you know exactly what is going on. I like the reflection of the bird as well. I like how the bird pops against the background as well. |

Great story conveyed in your image. Your composition works and I like the bright jacket against the more earth toned background. |

Very nicely done. I think your composition works and I love how you can feel the little hairs on the back of the petals. I've achieved some interesting results when using Topaz filers with a plant that is considered "hairy". The little hairs jump out. You might want to play around. You could also use LR to sharpen them up too, just so they jump out a little more! |

I think your composition is great and the curve of the lines from the plant make the image interesting. I agree with Cindy. I think the dark area helps define the feathers. It might not be very crisp, but I think it still works. |

Pulling off dark images is really hard, because they often look grainy, but you did an excellent job. You haven't compromised the subject in any way. I wouldn't crop it. I think it makes it more mysterious. |

Love the subject and I really like how you did it. The crop is great and everything essential is in focus. I also like your use of the vignette. |

I took your suggestion and cropped out and also did a little content aware in photoshop |

I love this image. All the buttons are really clear and I live the placement of the blue button. You have inspired me to get out of my flower obsession (at least a little). This is something I need to try! |
