I like the shot, but the leaning tower is disconcerting. I would also like to see it lightened up a bit. There are people in your foreground, but it is hard to see them because it is so dark. I think the colors of the buildings are probably beautiful. I would not make it monochrome. I do like the glow coming through the windows though, so if you lighten it up a bit, try not to lose that.

Great action shot! I think the composition is excellent and you could try the crop suggested by Tom & Robert. I also like the way the water came out in this one. |

I like the transparency look and have tried to capture that myself with a light box. I like the composition, but I would either crop the top flower out a little more so it is more off the page or show the entire top of the flower. Also, the flowers need to be a little sharper. |

Cool silhouette, and yes, you should straighten out the horizon. Also, I feel the tree is a little lost. Would you consider cropping it? |

I like the contrast of color from the dark sky where you can assume it is raining to the obvious highlight created from the sun on the top of your wall. I can picture the weather by looking at your photograph. I agree that you should straighten out the horizon. |

I think this image came out great, and I like that you cropped it. I also like how you really focused in on the eyes and allowed other things to be softer. The eyes are what make the expression and you can see how happy the dog is form those eyes. I wouldn't change anything. |

Good composition and fun idea. Hard to so as a one woman show though. I would have liked to see the bubble more in focus. Maybe if you used a tripod and then focused on the bubbles? |

I have never tried focus stacking, so I can't give you any advice or thoughts on that. I do think the image came out great, regardless of how you got the results!! Very clear. I like the composition and the wings are great! I am also impressed that you kept a dead cicada for more than 24 hours. They are just straight up creepy looking! |

I agree that you can't really tell she is looking through a window, however it doesn't matter to me. I think this is a wonderful photographic art piece. It is hard to see what her expression is saying. Is she sad? Is she tired? Is she pensive? It keeps the viewer intrigued and that is what art is all about!! The texture from the window, even though you don't know that's what is from really adds to the image. |

Love the colors of this fun image. I would get rid of the little hair that seems to have floated in to the image. What is Flood2? I love it. |

Cindy,
Really great shot. I love how you used the vignetting to focus the viewer in on the subject, although probably not necessary because the background isn't distracting now. I also like the tone you captured. It feels like an oil painting. What software and filters (if any) did you use? |
