I think Judy's suggestion is interesting, to make the house stand out more, but it looks unnatural in the shot. Since the subject is so large, you would never have a background that blurred naturally. I think it is great as is. |

I took a similar shot to this one at my own house. Due to the weather, the cherry blossom season was even shorter than it usually is. But the petals did make lovely carpet of pink in my yard as well!! I think the photo is sharp enough :) |

I think it is a nice composition, but the background is too grainy for my taste. I also feel like the top flower is more in focus than the bottom flower, but they are basically on the same plane. |

I love this piece! I think the colors are fun and I like the symmetry of the composition. It may just be an optical thing, but I feel like the image slants a down. If you tried to adjust it though, I think it would throw off other lines. |

Neat bird, and great capture! For me the image is little dark. I would try to lighten the overall image up just bit. |

I had a similar experience when I went to visit my son in San Diego. It is fascinating how close you can get to them, although I chose not to. I like your composition and everything about the image. I think Leonid's Her suggestion is cool and i like it, but I would keep both versions. |

You captured the bee, spot on. He (she) is super clear. I like the composition and the way the plant curves up. You also got great background blur. I think the breeze is probably what caused more of the flower being out of focus, but nicely done! |

I definitely feel the image you chose to highlight is the most interesting compositionally. You captured wonderful background blur, and I like the colors as well. I like image #3 as well. I think that is a great composition as well. |

Really nice image. I like the way the web is on a dark black background. I think that makes the image more dramatic. I would have liked the spider to be a little more in focus.

Great image and you certainly lock in to the eyes! I definitely think the crop is what you needed to do to make the image more dramatic! You want to know what he is thinking!!

For the lighting not being very good, I think it works! I like the composition and every thing is in sharp focus. Is that because of the 3 exposures? Very nicely done and an interesting subject. |
