I think it is an interesting subject and I like your composition. I also like Judy's suggestions of adding some drama in the form of contrast to this image. |

I love cherry blossoms as well, and by my house I was lucky to get some shots of them before the blooms disappeared (which seemed to be quick this season). I like your composition, however I would like the light to be more in focus. The way it stands now, it seems like that was to be the focal point. If not, then the flowers around it needed to be more in focus. |

I like the abstract quality and interesting lines and shapes you achieved, especially in the reflections. I agree if you played with the contrast a bit it would give it some more punch. |

I feel you regarding walking by and taking advantage of a cool opportunity in nature. I really like the abstract quality of the shot and I think your crop is what makes it feel that way. The green is a little bright, but I like the brighter tone in the red. I'm not sure if you can get one without the other though. I would remove that back pink leaf as well. Since you pumped up the contrast, it is looking a little funky. |

I think this is a great image! I love the clarity of the water droplets you achieved and the composition is perfect. I wouldn't change anything. Is Define2 a Topaz program? |

I think the adjustments you made after Robert's comments make the black and white version more interesting, however, I like the color version better. I think the tome of the colors in the image and the way the colors work with each other make it a more interesting shot than the black and white version. |

Actually, the grey line doesn't really bother me. I think it is because it isn't straight. It tilts slightly, so it makes the composition more interesting. I like everything else about this image as well. I think it is an interesting subject and you got great clarity. |

Lovely composition. I like the contrast and juxtaposition of the uneven petals of the flower against the straight lines of the leaves growing around it. I would love to see the original before you used Topaz simplify. I use that a lot as well. You have to be careful, because sometimes the image starts to get pixilated, which is okay if that is the look you are creating. Although it can be painstaking because it can take a long time, I often just use content aware to get rid of unwanted spots, especially if I want to preserve the clarity of my image. |

Fun shot, but I wish the whole splash was in sharp focus. I feel like the very top of the splash is not focused enough. It looks like where the water hit is the sharpest. Using the flag as the backdrop was a great idea, making the image very interesting. I also like the composition that was created by off-centering the water droplet, and then you add the interesting pattern and lines created by the flag. |

I like the orchids on the black background, but I feel like they should be a little brighter, especially since they are white. It would make it more dramatic. Also, if this were my image, I would content-aware out the brown spots on the flower on the left. That being said, I like your composition as well. |
