Not knowing what the original background was, I like the background you chose. I think it is neutral and it allows the subject to be highlighted, and she is, by the gorgeous colors of her clothing. I think the grass is too busy and I can't imagine she would be sitting infant of something like that, so it looks fake. |

It would have been nice if a bright sunlit cloud would have been behind George, but I wouldn't over process the image to get that effect. I like the black and white you did here. I also like your crop and composition, but the little slice of the building still left in the scene on the bottom left, feels like those columns are leaning and not parallel with the edge of the image, so I feel like I am falling out of the image. It might just be an optical illusion, but if not, I would try to pull that left bottom corner off to the left a little more with the warp tool in PS. |

I like the nice action scene. I would consider cropping out that ledge as well. I think the perspective of the walls does enough to frame in the scene. I think I would also consider cropping off the top, although I do like that blue sky. |

I too often feel very conspicuous when I am trying to "street" photography and I am always waiting for someone to yell at me. I would crop out the girl at the bottom, because where it is currently cropped is odd. I think you captured a nice slice of action. One thing that bothers me is, it seems like there is a bit of a halo around their faces. I'm not sure if that is a result of your processing or just the lighting at the time. |

I think this a great image. The composition works well and it is a great action shot. SO my question to you is, where were you when you took the shot? Because if you weren't on solid ground, I'm impressed with your complete lack of camera shake!! |

Really love what you did here! You know I am a huge fan of flower photography and I've been hanging out at the super market lately too! I love the abstract quality you created and the flow of the lines from the b petals. I think the crop and orientation work perfectly. I also like how you amped up the color. |

I like the composition. It is a fun subject too. Did you have those figurines? I think it would be more successful, if all three elements were in focus better. Or, you move the jack hammer slightly farther back, and then he could be a little more out of focus. |

I agree with Cindy's crop. I think it makes the composition more interesting and dulls the slight vibration you get from the complimentary colors of red on a green background. |

I think you successfully made them interesting. I think you have great focus in the foreground, with slight blur towards the back. I wouldn't crop in to just the nuts. I think it works so well, with the white plate contrasting the dust and it gives it context. Very nicely done. |

I would take the from away, because I think it distracting. Otherwise, I think it makes a cool abstract photo. I like the flow of lines not only created by the car girl, but in the reflections on the car. |

It's an orchid theme for you and I this month! I love how you captured the water droplets. For me, the back flower looks a little grainy. It doesn't bother me that much, because the focus is on the front flowers, but then I wonder what it would look like if you got rid of that flower all together? |
