30 Jul 17 Comment I like the abstract. Robert, I think you're adjustments work well , because I agree that too dark a background flattens the image. The color is great too.

30 Jul 17 Comment I love th colors and think it is a great subject. I probably would have also takes a macro of just the side of the bell to get a great texture image out of it as well.

30 Jul 17 Comment I'm going more subjective as well. I think this image has a very ethereal quality to it and I like it. I like how the arc in the sky actually reflects the curve of the water in some way and I think that is what makes this image interesting for me. I wouldn't crop it based on that. If I am bothered by anything its those 2 bushes in the foreground. I wish they didn't exist. Jul 18th
30 Jul 17 Comment I think your orientation is fine. I think the image is too out of focus for me, even to appreciate the abstract quality you were trying to achieve. I think if the image were more in focus overall, you would till have a great abstract quality because of the closeness of the shot. Jul 18th

57 Jul 17 Comment great background blur and it really focuses in on the dragonflies. I love dragonflies and can never get a good shot because they are always moving too quickly. That may be only change. Because they were moving the wings tend to lose focus on the edges. Jul 18th

57 Jul 17 Comment I think the colors in this are stunning. I wish the handle some how upped a little more against the background, so it almost create a trump l'oiel effect. Jul 18th
