It needs straightening for sure, but the toning doesn't bother me. I think it makes it a little more mysterious.

I like the way to seems like the clouds behind the tree are taking the shape of what the leaves may have looked like before they fell off. I think the single tree is framed nicely by natural ape created by the balance of the landscape. I wouldn't change anything. |

Great industrial image. I like the pattern of lines created by the lights. I would crop off some of the top of the image. For me it is very busy and I think it takes away from the lights, which I think is the most interesting part of the image. |

The colors are amazing and I agree with trying to skew it a little. It feels like the house, although very subtle are falling off the image. I like the flow of lines created from the dark trees and the edge of the water. |

It's hard to get a good macro shot or if you are going for it, to decide what you really want to be in focus. What would be the most interesting. Compositionally, I would have maybe changed my angle to the flower. The edge of the anther is right against the edge of one of the petals. If you moved slightly above or slightly below it would have been better. I also like Robert's suggestion of increasing the contrast to get a brighter petal. |

The rain drops don't bother me either. You did get amazing featheriness on the water fall. I think for me, I would have wanted to see the rest of the water a little more clear. That might be a function of the rain on the lens. It just seems a little out of focus to me. Did you do any other post processing? |

When I said push it, I did mean that since the background was blown out due to the sun, I just pushed the contrast and made it really white. That is why some of the petals in the flowers became whiter. Some photographers would have a problem with this photo based on technique. |

Great focus on the bug. I do wish a little more of the flower were in focus, but obviously the focal point is the bug. I would consider cropping it in a little from the left. You could take out part of the vertical section of the flower and you would still know it was a flower. |

Great composition and great focus on the bug. I like the background blur you achieved as well. |

Nicely done. I like how you darkened the leaves in the background. I think if they were brighter, it would be distracting to the calla lilies. This way they are the focal point. |

I like your use of textures to try to make the background more interesting. I think the Irises are beautiful and perfectly shot, but I think the background is still boring and it it seems to flatten out the image. Maybe you should try a vignette. Not too dark, but just enough to draw your eye right to the flowers. |

I guess this is "reflection"month, since Cindy's image has a reflection as well. I like the composition. I wish the front of the strawberry were a little more in focus and for me I would like it a little brighter. I'm sure that was a function of where you placed the light. |

Great image. I like how in focus everything is and I think your choice of black background really works with the image. I also like the subtle reflection underneath the shell. |
