This is a great image. I like the composition, and I wouldn't crop it. It is amazing how still the water is and to capture that reflection. I do like Judy's suggestion of trying to enhance the sky some how. Not sure if you can draw out more contrast or saturation without compromising the rest of the image. |

The autumn colors you captured are stunning. I like the composition as is. I wouldn't crop or tilt. I like the little bit of road you caught turning around the image. Nice. |

What a sweet face. I'm not well versed in portraiture either. The hair on top of her head looks like it is overly sharp and then the hair on the side looks too soft. I'm not sure if there is a way you can balance that off a little. |

The trees don't really bother me. I am os focused on the amazing colors on the rock behind them. I'm also trying to picture the image without the trees at all (not that I'm suggesting you remove them), but I think they need to be there. I like the way they break up the composition. |

Wow! You "how I did it" went right over my head! I think it is an amazingly incredible shot and very well done. I love the composition and dark colors. The light streak does look like a dotted line floating the sk. |

I like the softness and the drama that has been created with the lighting. I'm wondering if you tried to lighten it up just a little, would the blown out areas be even brighter, and therefore too bright? I feel the rest of the image is a little too dark for me. Also, in the lower corners where it fades off is throwing me off. It's a little too much fade. |

First of all, never say you wish the flower was fresh and young! I love shooting flowers that are starting to fade. They make great images!! I think compositionally, it would have been nice to have less of the petals on the bottom, and more of whatever was above the flower. The softness of the petals in the foreground don't really bother me, because I feel the focus is still on the center of the flower. I would get rid of the vignetting, or pull it back a little. |

It is amazing how the wings on the left are in such amazing focus that you see every line on them. I also feel the dragon fly must have been moving. I find the background to have too much noise. Perhaps if you tried to isolate the background and add more of a blur to it, it would be less distracting. |

I've taken Mike's workshops as well. I've learned a lot. I like the composition and the dark background. Everything is very well focused. |
