Not harsh at all, Harry. I joined this group to learn from people who are more experienced photographers than I am, so your honesty is appreciated. |

This is a beautiful image. I think the enhancements Hung made work well with the image, too. |

Thank you for the feedback, Piers. I did not de-shadow...I'm still learning the editing portion, so thanks, I had no idea I could do that!
I hope the Cedars come back so you can capture them! |

I think this composition turned out great. The touches you made to the farmer to enhance his image make him standout against the background (and I love that background!). |

I'm always impressed by the rodeo shots I see. It's challenging, I'm sure (I've not yet been to a rodeo). The minor edits Beverly made make the rider and horse stand out. |

I have a picture of one of these flowers - or a similar flower - as my wallpaper on my phone, so I was drawn to this photo immediately. The edits you chose improved the image. |

Nice image. The way you used the sun-ray option and the brightening of the sails works for me. |

Harry, I really like the choice you made to edit into the B&W. I think it made for a much better image. |

Thank you for both crops. I won't be able to do this for the spring :-( Schools have been closed for the year and therefore there are no youth sports. But I'll keep pulling from my archives to be ready for the fall and to continue learning how to improve. |

I think this is an interesting shot. I'll defer to the others on whether it's suitable for exhibit, |

Great title! :)
I think one of the things I've enjoyed most with sports photography is capturing a moment you wouldn't capture in portraits. In this instance, it's the muscles in his neck, the strain of his arms, the look in his eyes...this is a great shot. |

Thanks, Bruce! It's more fun going back through these images now that I am developing a better eye for what makes a good shot. I've made some composite pictures as end-of-season gifts for the players my husband coaches in the past and I think I may start to do that again. |
