Laurie, I thought of you and your images while I was out on a hike at a yoga festival last month. Thank you for inspiring me to take images I wouldn't focus on as much prior to joining this group!
I love the colors in the butterfly's wings and how the background complements the color. I would crop it a bit closer, but that's the only change I would make. |

Hung, this is a fabulous shot. It might be due to our just celebrating Independence Day here, but I noticed the colors of the harp strings right away and the vibrations of the strings the harpist's fingers just plucked. I would crop out the spot at the top left where the harp has some curvature, leaving a bright spot.
Very nice image! |

This looks like a building that belongs to a sci-fi movie set. I blew up the image and noticed plants in the window, which of course match the palm trees, continuing the otherworldly feel of this image. Very cool shot! |

This is an interesting image. I can almost imagine myself sitting on a porch or in a window gazing out on this scene. Nice capture of the mist and the clouds. I think the edit to darken the mountain was a good choice as I see the lines more clearly.

This is beautiful, Shirley! I want to follow the walk-way to the lighthouse. It does look like the lighthouse is leaning toward the water, which it probably is given how straight the lines are on the walkway. |
