Right now I am just shooting soccer, but would love to branch out and shoot other sports. And volleyball would be awesome to shoot. |

I didn't notice the yellow flowers at first, but once I did, I can see them as distracting.
This photo reminds me of photos my aunt puts on the greeting cards she creates. Pretty and a bit whimsical. I imagine you have a lovely garden. |

I just completed an 8 mile run on hard pavement in the height of the sun (because I wanted to sleep "just a few minutes more"). I rather wish I was this runner right now.
Lovely shot, great crop. As a runner and nature lover, this photo speaks to me. |

Funny story...I showed the picture to my daughter last night and said, "I think I should have cropped out the rest of the pole on the left." So I am glad you confirmed that for me. :-) |

I'm still working on editing that series of photos, so I will take your suggestion for the graduated filter and apply it to images - I'm still learning LR, so thank you for that! |

Making the background black was definitely the correct decision. For this particular image, I think the greenery in the original is distracting.
She really does seem to be looking right at the audience, doesn't she? |

I love the lines of the dancer and how you can see joy on her face. I like the way the light plays off her costume. I agree with Laurie, in that I would crop just a little from the right...but not too much. I could imagine this hanging on the wall in a dance studio and the blackness seems almost suspenseful - will there be a pas de deux? |

Harry, this is beautiful. The feathers are so well defined. And the colors are brilliant but simple at the same time.
When you say "Topaz Glow 2," is that a Lightroom preset? |

You do not need to stop doing these crops. I love this. I am taking a macro class next week and this image makes me want to take the class even more! The detail is amazing with the pollen on the bee's legs. The purple all around makes the bee stand out more. |
