I have this little glass-enclosed carving of a heron with intricately carved wood around it. When I saw this picture, I immediately thought of that little trinket purchased many years ago. This is a gorgeous image.
I agree with Shirley, it could be cropped a bit and the white spots are a little distracting, but when I opened the image, my eye was instantly drawn to the bird. Wonderful capture! |

This reminds me of an old-timey postcard. I love the mountain peak in the background and the clouds with the ready-to-storm look about them. Nice job on the gate removal. I wouldn't have spotted the edit. |

I'm taking a macro class next month and I'm very excited to learn to take pictures like this! The crop is great - I wouldn't have known there was a fence behind the bud. I keep scrolling back up from the comment block to the image because I want to study the veins on the plant. |

This is a really interesting image. Like Shirley, I know nothing about IR.
I like the way you cropped this and the gold you chose. I didn't notice the leaves at the top immediately...my eye was drawn directly to your models. To me, this image evokes and old-timey feel, like an image from the 19th century. |

I like the adjustments you made in Lightroom - the mud splatter shows much better, which make the race seem more real. Details, like the dirt flying behind the hooves, show better, as well. |
