Thanks David. Yes I did sharpen it in Lightroom but it lost quality with the transfer to this format. I think next time I might have to look at it carefully after I prepare it for PSA, instead of just shipping it out. |

Just FYI- now that I see the image online- it lost some resolution- it is actually raining if you look for the drops in the photo....😳 |

Overall pretty photo. I am not very knowledgeable on landscape photos so I have been studying on youtube and watching some videos. For example, I learned that even in a landscape photo you still need a main subject which I did not realize. I really like the videos by Thomas Heaton and Mark Denny. I am going to try landscape this month and those videos helped me cut my learning time (I hope). Hope they help you too if you are interested. Good luck. |

Very nice photo with great composition. Good catch of a quick moment. Eyes and fish are in great focus. The orange beak leads me to the subject quickly. I would like to see the tail of the bird on the right and crop a smidge of the foreground sand to bring out the birds a little more (not sure?).
You definitely have a super good pose to view the chick, behaviors, and feeding!! Very nice! |

Cute photo. One thing I learned early on with photo instructors: when working with animals is to always focus on eyes. Your camera will have variable focus views that you can adjust. (Really works on slow animals like a deer.) I just started to use it on mine after may last trip. That is where the viewer goes to and is the hallmark of a good animal photo. Maybe a little more foliage on the left too.
I like the green contrast color of the grass to accent the brown of the deer. I like the head turning and looking at you too. |

Mike- another completely awesome photo! Eyes are in focus and low aperture has nice blurring of back and foreground to lead the eye to the subject. The eyes are in perfect focus too. I look forward to shooting photos like yours someday. |

beautiful shot and nice variety of colors blended together. I might have cropped it more on the right to give the direction of the heron more room in front of his face. Also really like that you shot from your kayak. I kayak also and am afraid to take my camera- but that is where great shots like this are taken! Thanks for sharing.😊|

I like the line of color going through the photo drawing the eye. The green color on the upper third is a nice contrast. I wish there was some green on the bottom to balance out the top with color. Overall. a nice photo and gives a happy feeling! |
