My eyes are immediately drawn to the stick and face! For me the photo is sharp, the colors of the face and beak are intense. I am drawn to the water drops scattering, even from his feet. And the background is out of focus so that my mind is not bothered trying to understand anything in the photo but the bird and the stick! My eyes are bothered by the shoulder of the wing being slightly out of focus, do you think a little more depth of field would have changed that? |

I love this photo! For me, it is very well focused and clear. The bird's reflection is precise and the activity of the water (expanding circles, water droplets, and other disturbances) are each individually clear and precise to my eyes. The thing that, for me, really ties it all together is your title! |
