Yes, we are so fortunate to be able to spend two months each year here. After a decade founding and developing our Hawaii accommodation business, Joel and I have chosen to rent condos here because of the open spaces filled by floating clouds, mountains, lava, long stretches of beaches and with a relative absence of tourists. If anyone wants to send a friend request, I have posted other photos on facebook. |

I tried your suggestion of turning it upside down. That is something I did not think about. If I remember correctly, I may have just enlarged, cropped and used the apple edit of vivid and/or brightness. |

Have you been to India? Tones of brown and grey abound there. Maybe that is why Indian ladies dress in such colorful fabrics and why the stands of spice and other colorful items catch the eye. I was brought right back to my time in India with your wonderful edit. Most of the people there have very little in physical possessions, but they take time to hang out and to help and enjoy each other. Their tasks, no matter how small, are important and a source of pride and satisfaction. |

When I first saw this, I thought how beautiful it would be to have this on my desk in the form of a paperweight. |

I love to take photos of street scenes, especially when I travel. I wonder if it had been even more intriguing if a person or two had walked into your frame. |

I'm going to try using those Snapseed tools. I love the crispness of this. The sharpness of the thorns remind me of many times I've been pricked while picking flowers. |
