Very nice composition. I think the iPhone has over increased the saturation of the reds. Also, I think that I would like this more if it could have been taken at a moment when more of the people had been looking at the produce. |

Instead of color, in B&W, all that is available is brightness and darkness, and to me, B&W images that fully utilize the range of brightness feel more complete and interesting than those taking their luminosities directly from a color original. I like the clouds in your rendition. I think it would be nicer still if you brightened the bridges, as they are the subject of the image. |

This is close to what I had in mind, but I haven't removed the power lines. |

The geometry of the two bridges is fun to look at. To me, this scene would be even more interesting if the sky were nearly black. This can be achieved filtering through a red filter to make the color to monochrome conversion. I'd like it still more if the contrast in the rock cliffs on either side and the bridge were increased a bit without increasing the contrast in the clouds. |

This is a wonderful action photo with a fascinating background. For me, I like seeing both the action and the context. Ed's rendition does both, and I like it very much. |

Out of the original photograph, you certainly extracted the most important and interesting part. It is a pity that the girl isn't closer to the horse. For me, this would also be an interesting photograph in color. |

Very nice colors against a good background. I agree with the removal of the out of focus flower and the vertical stem. |

You may have been happy, but the bear looks pretty menacing to me. In view of the bear's expression, perhaps "Out of my Territory".
I think the fur ought to look more in focus compared to the grass. Simply increasing local contrast fixes this for me. |

The original stack was about 90 images. From these, 38 were used to make the composite.
Yes, I used a tripod.
Yes, the plant is a Borage.
I did not add any of the water drops, neither the six or so larger ones, nor the thousands of smaller ones on the tiny hairs.
Thank you for the kind words. I will continue to do my best, but it is unlikely that future images will be better than what I've already produced. |
