78 Aug 23 Reply Thank you. Your edits nicely improve the image. Aug 15th
78 Aug 23 Comment This seems better, but the sky still seems to me to be too green. I am perplexed by the fact that one figure seems to have a shadow, but the rest do not. Aug 12th
78 Aug 23 Comment I find the presence of some of the land increses my liking of this image. I also increased local contrast and adjusted the color of the sky. Aug 11th
78 Aug 23 Comment My original post disappeared. I recall however that I would have preferred to have more cropping from the left and a little more from the right and to have had sharper focus (or more sharpening of the eyes) on the eyes. Aug 11th
78 Aug 23 Reply Somehow, my original post a week and a half ago, never made it online or disappeared as Ed's appeared to have.
This is very nice. I think I would like it more if it contained one or more people. To me it feels unnaturally lonely.
When I processed your original to look close to your posted submission, I ended with some starbursts around the two streetlights which I rather liked. You may have suppressed them or they may have been less prominent in your conversion to monochrome.

The bee was not chilled. I think he was resting. All the others around were working like true bees. I've never before seen one stay so still for so long.
I'll fix that background. Thank you for pointing it the defect.
As the bee was perfectly still, I don't have images of it in other positions. Would you like to work with the composite focus stack result?

78 Aug 23 Reply It really does pop, I love it. Aug 2nd
78 Aug 23 Comment Nice processing to generate some interest in what looks like a flat original. I'd like it more if the color of the sky were closer to what I think the sky color is. Adding a seagull to the other piling might be more than I would do to an image, but if it somehow were magically there, the image would be even more interesting to me. Aug 2nd
78 Aug 23 Comment The humans really accentuate the size of the formations. The composition seems nicely balanced. I'd prefer the sky not to have its slightly green hue. Aug 2nd
78 Aug 23 Comment Very nice. I particularly like the bright reds. It looks like there has been quite a bit of careful masking and adjusting of brightness. Perhaps you would like to expand on how you did it? Considering the brightness of the jester, the sky seems a little dark. Aug 2nd
78 Aug 23 Comment Really nice and interesting. I much prefer the round version because the distortions fit the overall shape. In the square version I feel conflicts. Aug 2nd
