Here's my attempt at removing the green tint and brightening the daffodil leaves. |

I like the framing, timing, and subject. I would like it more if it were a little sharper and if the bird had been coming towards you. |

I like the range of colors and the presence of the water droplets. I would have preferred that more of the rose be in focus. |

I particularly like the fact that the snow is not blown and details can be seen of the ice crystals. I, too, prefer Jody's version without the green tint to the snow. This shot is interesting beyond its esthetic qualities. It is apparent that the daffodils are giving off heat and have melted nearby ice crystals. |

I, too, confused the scree in Dorinda's monochrom with snow. Jody's version avoids this problem. I slightly prefer monochrom however. Mine was made by increasing local contrast, increasing saturation a bit, and then converting to monochrome by using a red filter. The sky looks a little blank, and Dorinda addressed this, but I am loathe myself to add features to an image that are not present in the original. |

To me, the iguana looks quite a lot brighter than the original or the other revisions. I think I prefer the iguana to be less bright than this and for the background to show where some of the green coloring in the iguana's scales is coming from. |

My questions above are not rhetorical. |

Lots of effort for modest changes. Nonetheless, I have addressed those white areas. |

This is a really comfortable scene with some gorgous colors. To me it feels a little staged with the nearly identical framing by the trees on the left and right. Also to me, the front layer of hills and trees is brighter than I would like. This scene would feel comfortable if it were subdued and gentle. The brightness and colors feel somewhat forced and forward and not like a quiet morning in the Smokey's. The mist rising from behind the second layer of hills feels very bright. Here I've reduced the saturation and contrast and also cropped a bit from the bottom so the focus shifts from the nearest layer of trees to the more distant multiple layers. Reducing the brightness and contrast brought up more of the mist that I'd expect to see in the early morning. |

Yes, the barrel is nicely framed. The subject interests me. The greens are a little more saturated than I would make them. |

I like the feeling of light and depth and the fact that the sunlight is not exactly perpendicular to the hallway. To me it might be more appealing if it contained some human artifact other than the prison itself. |

The building looks like it has full sunshine on its front surfaces and the cars, trees, and buildings show distinct shadows. Are you sure it was raining at the time? Does your mention of Skylum mean that you replaced the original sky? |

As a documentary photo it is good that it was taken when the trees had no leaves so that more of the building could be seen. Even as a documentary shot, it would be nicer if the tipped verticals of the building were corrected. |

I like the absence of people the empty ocean and the uniformity of the waves. Is the sky natural? I don't think that I've ever seen clouds quite like these. This nicely uses the entire luminosity range from pure white to pure black. I found that applying an S-shaped luminosity curve gave this slightly more kick. I wonder if there is any different way to take this somewhat familiar shot. |

I like the detail and the colors on the Iguana scales. I think I would prefer that the green background be a little more subdued as it is competing for my attention with the Iguana. |
