I have printed the leaves and looked at the version with and without that border "crap" for a couple weeks now. Usually my thoughts on an image eventually come to agree with those of other viewers. In this case however, I still prefer the version with the crap. As best I can tell, this is because I've seen a great many macro shots of single flowers during this virus confinement period, and I want something a little different. This is not to say that I don't like this version without the junk, I just like the one with the framing a little better. Maybe in a month or two... |

Yes, I meant our left, the worker's right elbow. |

Very nice composition. I'd prefer that the water near the top not look blown. |

The fog, hills, vegetation, and ocean(?) are all wonderful and produce a very nice feeling. I think I'd like it better without the car, and perhaps without the road. |

Fantastic. Maybe remove that bit of green and white at the worker's left elbow? |

I wonder how this would look if it were taken from a point a little to the left or right? I can't predict whether moving the castle off center improves the image. I've edited the image, as shown, but my apologies if this is not at all the idea you had in mind. |

I like seeing something a little different. The f/5.6 aperture seems to have given more than adequate depth of field, but it is a little hard to check since the pixel dimensions of the image are rather small. |

It is a colorful, seasonally appropriate subject. Being confined, either for personal health reasons or the darn virus can become a challenge. Photographing helps, and it looks most of us are gaining experience with macros. I find it mildly disquieting that the potentially dirt-covered carrots are alongside the "clean" above ground products of apples and squashes. Photographically, it seems that the transition from full brightness to fairly significant darkening in the vignetting is pretty sharp. I'd like it better if the transition were more gradual. |
