Nice, sharp (pun) picture. I agree with Jon and Dorinda on the cropping. A pure black background might be nice, but if it feels unnatural, perhaps reduce the color saturation of the background. It would also help to remove the bright flower on the bottom right of the middle flower. The direction of the incident light adds interest. Still more interest would have been provided if the light had been a little more forward so that the needles on the cactus cast diagonal shadows on the cactus itself. |

Interesting, on my own, I would never have thought to crop out the buds on the right. Now that I see it that way, I prefer it to the uncropped version. |

It is eye catching. For me however, I prefer the image of the Japanese girl without the artificiality of the extraneous painter and easel. With or without the painter's arm, it might be beneficial to remove the diagonal poles in the background. The cropping of the "original" seems to produce a nicer image than the copping in the product. |

Dorinda's clouds have a little more texture. It is a nice picture of a nice location, but because the river is rather calm, it feels like something might be missing, a stump, a canoe, a boulder? Instead of adding an object, I find that I like this better in B&W with the contrast increase substituting for the missing foreground object. |

The colors feel too saturated to me. Interestingly though, when I changed the green sky to dark blue, it felt OK. |

As I like images to feel "natural", the extreme distortion in this is uncomfortable to me. Here is a version that retains some distortion, but to me feels better. I like warmth you added to the masonry and the fact that the clouds are not blown. |
