Sorry, about that, can you see my reply to Ian, is that enough? Thanks for your comments.

18 Jan 20 Reply Thanks Mark for your comments, I'll have a look at that when I reedit. Jan 21st
18 Jan 20 Reply Thanks for the suggestion.
Sorry Ian. That was lazy of me. I'll blame it on the smoke smell, it was so bad last night, I couldn't sit in the lounge, I needed to change rooms.
I used Photoshop, layers of curves and a solid colour layer in soft light blend. In Topaz, I used fur & feathers, Impasto I, & Burnt Edges.
And, it's been cropped.

18 Jan 20 Reply I get that. I find the dark lines work, cause you find that you are tracing around the branches with your eyes. Jan 13th
18 Jan 20 Comment I love all the colours that were abstracted from the frost pattern, Mike. Cool idea to overlay the branches. It works well together. I like the tree branches when the loop around to combine with another and the colour is captured inside.
Curious, did you try it with the branches at a lower opacity to see what effect it would have on the image. Or a few layers like one at darken, & the other at lighten.

18 Jan 20 Comment That is a cool idea, Mark. I didn't realise it was a rubber band until I read your comments. well done Jan 13th
18 Jan 20 Comment I'm of a different opinion, I like the drawing. I like the impact of the lines and textures. I think the elephant is the main subject, so I would fill in the back of the chair more so there is less white areas. So as, not to cause a distraction from the elephant. Jan 13th
18 Jan 20 Comment i have to agree on the black and white version too.
I wonder if the radial filter in Lightroom might make a difference to the bike rider. Use two circles, one for the face/top area to draw the viewers eye. And the bottom to bring the bike out darker.

18 Jan 20 Comment Welcome to our group, Jim.
Your concept of the images works well together. It certainly is an interesting building.
Is the ground and the sky one image? If not, maybe some Gaussian blur along the horizon to reflect the haze at that level.

18 Jan 20 Reply Thanks for your concern, Mike. I'm not near the fires. Here, we're affected by the smoke from the fires with the smell of the smoke going through the house. And, the air quality has been unhealthy during the day growing to hazardous tonight.
Thanks for your comments. I can see how I can make some improvement.
regards
Jen
