Kerstin, I love the treatment and colours in this image, especially on the fairy in the foreground.
I think there's some good comments previously about some ideas for improvement.
I'd like to see what you can do further with this image.

There's places within the image where the eye can rest, then move on again around the image.

Tom, the image makes an interesting pattern.
I tend to like the landscape view too.
And, I would also suggest to find the complementary colors of the purples & yellows, and a green to match.

Andrew, this image works well in black & white.
I wonder if it has to do with the color is 3 subjects whereas the black & white is 4. I see that in the black and white, if it was 3 would make a triangle.
I like the idea about some spooky lights in the trees.

Mike, this image suits the technique well.
I'll ignore the green as I can see you have dealt with it.
My idea is to flip the background, so the scrub is on the right hand side. Then, the deer over to the right closer to the rule of 3rds. So, that the deer's point of view is not obstructed by the bush. |
