I think the effect suits this image. The part of the sky between the tank and the water pipe doesn't seem to match the sky in tone and texture. Thus, it being in the middle of the image, my eye is drawn to this area. |

I like the idea of the text over this image. Perhaps a different tonal/shade of the colour so the text is easier to read or a 3D effect. |

I like this technique too. I wonder if the colour of the clouds are the complementary colour to the sky. Perhaps, the bottom right green could be changed to a complementary colour of the water. Like the windmill reflection is in the oranges. |
