I don't have Luminar 4 but have been reading about it. Perhaps I will get it during this crises we are in. |

Larry, The overcast sky most of the day dominated almost all of the images I took that day and I wanted to that to be a significant part of the image. I realized in including that much sky that the center of the image, horizontally, was problematic but the buildings on the right would be in about the correct position. |

I agree with cropping a bit more of the sky out. Thanks |

Richard,
I was a bit confused looking at your image. You have lots of rock in the bottom 2/3 of the image which dominates the image. I like your first crop in response to Larry's comment. My eye didn't know where to start in the original image whereas my eye starts at the bottom rock and progresses up through the water to the mountain in the first crop you did. The second crop, in my opinion, still leaves too much rock in the image. I think that Michael is onto something when he comments that the original is the right composition if you can tone down those rocks in the lower right quarter of the image. I really do like the mountains in the background and their reflection in the water.

This is a really nice image of part of the Grand Canyon. I like the cliffs in the distance because they capture your interest and your eye wants to follow them to the right. Good job of removing the tint from the helicopter! I would like to see a bit more detail in the white clouds at the top of the image but other than that it is a really good image. I agree with Richard that the sharpness is just right. |

Arne,
I like this image because it gives you a glimpse of what it was like under authoritarian rule. The only minor change I would make would be to extend the image on the right so the tower at the lower right doesn't stand out quite so much but that is a minor detail. I like the dark, menacing tone to the image. Nicely done! |

Michael,
I like the image as it is. I am not sure if I would crop it on the left because the light on the horizon there balances the whole image. I like the brooding clouds above with a glimpse of sunlight lighting the ground below. Great storm image. |

Larry,
This is a really nice image. I agree with your first instinct that the grass should be darker and the trees behind the cabin also. Reducing the light from with the cabin would be a bit more realistic and mean that nothing would need to be done to the face of the fireplace. This is a postcard or movie shot! |

This is a really nice image Le. I actually like your image as it is. I tried cropping out both the building and light pole on the left but you are then left with no where for the umbrellas to end at the bottom left of the image. I also tried cropping the structure at the bottom of the image but that did not leave anywhere for the umbrellas to end at the bottom of the image. I like the way the umbrellas end at the bottom left of the image without the buildings cropped out.
This picture really is eye candy and a really nice image. |
