All, All of your suggestions make sense to me now that I look back at the scene I submitted. I think I just got caught up in the bucolic view. Thanks |

I like this image a lot Richard. I like the contrast between the bright flowers in the foreground hills and dark brooding look of the background hills. And the clouds hanging over the mountains give it a foreboding look like whats coming next! It looks like it could be a bit sharper overall but is really a nice image. |

What caught my eye were the clouds between you and the mountains plus the clouds above the mountains. The image looks a bit drab below the clouds. I agree with Larry about cropping the bottom and I like his edits bringing out more of the detail at the bottom below the clouds. Well done. I keep reminding my grand kids, look behind you...there might be something interesting there. |

Arne, Nice conversion to B&W. The color version would probably not be near as dramatic as this. I like the way you cropped it and everything leads right up to the top of the mountain. Adding the clouds in the sky was the right touch to make the image better. |

Michael, I really like the colors of this image, they are really great. I think I like the original crop better than the cropped one. I looked at it in LR and perhaps a bit of Clarity or Contrast would make the trees and mountains pop a bit more. I like the way my eye went from the lake to the orange mountains at the right and then to the mountains to the top left. Really nice job. |

Larry, This is a really nice picture. It is very sharp and the star burst and red roof on the buildings add that extra touch to the image. I agree that removing about half of the water would make this image even better. Great job! |

Le, I like the way you framed this photo which brings out the mountains character. I agree that the sky is sort of bland and adding clouds would make it better. A bit more detail in the mountains in the middle of the image would be nice. The lake, as it is, seems fine to me because even if it was glassy you wouldn't see much of the mountains anyway. It is a really nice picture. |
