Richard, Your second one is my favorite. Maybe the orange bush at the bottom of the picture could be darkened a bit but that may be just a personal preference. Really nice image. |

Bill, Very good image of a tough subject. I agree with Richard that the lava flow was too dark. Adding a little clarity or texture to the lava field would make it pop a bit more. The only distracting thing is the white line between the mountain on the right and the sky and the same thing on the small hill at the far left. Overall a very good picture. |

Arne, I really like the image you came up with. Cropping the way you did makes the bridge the center of attention with the two flowers leading your eye right to it. The original really had not much detail on the bridge but the cropped shows the detail. The bush at the right pushes your eye right to the bridge. Really nice picture. |

Michael, Wow, a really nice image. I really like the layering with the colors in the foreground, the mountains in the background and the sky capturing the distance. I have been going back and forth between your image and Richards version for 15 minutes now and think that more color is correct but not quite as much as in Richards version. Keep in mind that that is just my opinion. Great picture. |

Jyoti, Glad to have you in the group. This is a compelling image of what it is like in the wild! I agree with the comments of both Richard and Michael. Adding a bit more contrast might make it pop a bit more. |

Le, This is a really good shot after dark. I like the smooth water the long exposure gives you. The rock spire at the center left of the image kept drawing my eye to it and I might want to crop it out. I like the blues in the island and center foreshore. Again, A really good shot. |
