Nothing more to add than what has already been said. A terrific, impactful portrait. |

I'm a biker, I love Norton's, and these folks are insane. Great shot and a great story. |

You know, when I first looked at this I thought this really needs to be wider. But as I studied it a bit more the slight blurring effect of the strong light at the windows combined with the tilted perspective creates a feeling of rushed movement toward the center for me. I feel like I'm being drawn up to the dome. I like this a lot. |

A terrific portrait. I like the way the lines lead from the shoulders to the face. Your conversion is spot on. However, I prefer the color version. The contrast between the skin tone and the salt/pepper stubble adds a touch of character that doesn't come through as strongly in the B/W version. But if I were choosing one to hang on my wall, it would be a toss up. Well done. |

Thanks to all for the comments. I'm going with Davids version. I think this is only the second photo ever that I've used a white vignette. It just doesn't work with my photos in general. However, due to the very bright sky and the somewhat spiritual nature of the subject matter, it seemed appropriate to give it something of an ethereal quality with the white vignette. What Jerry did with the bells is much better that what I got. I going back and working on those bells! |
