Thanks Larry. That's what I was going for. I was trying to make the stamen tack sharp and allow the curves and textures of the petal to draw the eye directly to it. It was really hard to shoot. I couldn't get in with a tripod so it was one of those brace the elbows on the knees shots. |

So where does the photo take me? The brightness of the girls at the periphery keeps my eye moving across the image making me think that immediately after the photo was snapped the girls burst into action dancing across the stage. There is a tension there I like. For me it also works much better in mono. |

I love it. I shot motocross back in the dark(room) ages and love this capture. I feel like I need to keep my eyes moving left every time I look at it. |

Really well done. If you were going for that fairy-like mystical feel you've achieved it. My granddaughter loves it and that's quite a high complement! |

I agree with removing the dude under the camel. Paul's version makes quite a difference. But otherwise it's terrific. I don't need to see more of the camels as the two men urgently waving them on tells me everything I need to know. |

Though I prefer the color version ( those blue eyes!) the mono is quite well done. I just think it's amazing you got the shot as sharp as you did. I've never had any luck shooting these things. They seem to have a preternatural ability to know exactly when I'm going to trip the shutter. |

Very nice. I really like the composition. When I first saw this I immediately thought of a slot canyon. This is essentially an urban slot canyon. For my money I would have gone for that effect by darkening the side walls giving it sort of a light-at-the-end-of-the-tunnel look. comments on bright spots are on point as well. |
